Fire outbreak at Kuje prisons.

At precisely about 4:30pm today, there was a fire outbreak at the Kuje Medium Prisons, Abuja. the fire that broke out at the clinic area was immediately put out by some security personnel on duty.
A spokesman from the FCT Prisons Command, Humphrey Chukwuedo, reported in an interview after the incidence that there have been no casualty. He said that though the reason for the outbreak isn’t instantly known, it’s suspected that the smoke may have begun from a faulty electrical appliance stored in an annex building used for teaching inmates handiwork.
The prison yard has returned to the calm and peaceful state it was before the incidence and everybody is good. He added.
