The embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been nominated for Jewish Nobel Prize.
A popular Jewish Journalist at Times of Israel, Shashi Ishai, who nominated the IPOB leader, called on others to also nominate the Biafran freedom fighter for the Prize.
It should be noted that the Nobel Prize is aimed at fostering Jewish identity, inspire Jewish pride and strengthen the bond between Israel and the Diaspora.
According to IGBERE TV, the Prize celebrates Jewish talent and achievement, honoring individuals for their accomplishments and commitment to Jewish values, inspiring Jews to connect to their heritage and to Israel.
It was disclosed that the vision of the Genesis Prize is a strong and vibrant Jewish people, aware of its roots while looking to the future; a Jewish community flourishing in diversity, yet united in appreciation of Jewish values and support for the Jewish State.
It would be recalled that Kanu, who was recently extradited to Nigeria following his arrest in Kenya, is currently facing trial and under the custody the Department of State Services (DSS).
Kanu was re-arraigned on charges bordering on alleged treason.
It should be noted that Kanu was first arrested on October 14, 2015, and arraigned on 11-count charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, managing an unlawful society, publication of defamatory matter, illegal possession of firearms and improper importation of goods, among others.
He has been fighting and clamoring for Biafra nation.
