Labour Party chieftain, Pat Utomi, has challenged the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to conduct a medical checkup and make the result public.
Utomi said that Tinubu is not fit and Nigeria has suffered from electing sick leaders.
Pat Utomi made the call to Tinubu recently while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
He said: “Our country has suffered so much from having ailing leaders. That was why the Vice President stepped up.
“American Presidents go through medicals that are made public. Let him (Tinubu) go for medicals with Nigerian doctors up in the hospital and make it public.
“It is the life of millions of people that we are dealing with.”
While talking further, he said: “The Vice President (Yemi Osinbajo)) would have been a fit person. You can see he (Tinubu) is ailing. Common, let’s not kid ourselves, let’s be honest.”
