Nigerian-born Foluke Laosebikan elected President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.

Nigerian-born Foluke Laosebikan has been elected as Law Society of Saskatchewan’s President. The society is the Province’s governing body for lawyers.

Foluke Laosebikan is the proprietor of F.L.K Law Firm and she specializes in family law and dispute resolution. In 2017, she was first elected as a Bencher to occupy a vacancy and has served on the Access to Legal Services, Professional Standards, Conduct Investigation, Access & Equity, and Audit Committees. Also, she has actively participated in some youth and family oriented programs and other community development programs around Melfort.

She graduated from the pretigious Obafemi Awolowo University (O.A.U.), Ile Ife, Nigeria, in 1993 with an LLB (Hons) degree. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1995.

In 2011, she was called to the Saskatchewan Bar. Dr. Laosebikan bagged a Ph.D. in Law from Howard College, University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.

She is an active member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and she belongs to other professional organizations like the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice, the Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan and Conflict Resolution Saskatchewan Inc. ​She has over 25 years of  international legal knowledge and experience.

She is an active member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and she belongs to other professional organizations like the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice, the Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan and Conflict Resolution Saskatchewan Inc. ​She has over 25 years of  international legal knowledge and experience.
