Former United States President, Donald Trump has set up a formal post-presidency office in Florida’s Palm Beach County.

According to a press release from the office, “The Office of the Former President” will be in charge of Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearance, and official activities.

The statement said: “Today, the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump formally opened the Office of the Former President.

“The Office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances and official activities to advance the interests of the US and to carry the agenda of the Trump administration.

“President Trump will always and forever be a champion for the American people.”

The former President has not been vocal since he left the White House for his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach. Also, he has been banned from Twitter and suspended from other top social media platforms after the Capitol riot carried out by his supporters on January 6.

The United States House of Representatives has forwarded to the Senate the articles of impeachment against former him for inciting the riot at the Capitol building.

Also, he is facing impeachment for stiring up the riot at the Capitol building on January 6, with United States Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer revealing that Trump’s impeachment trial is scheduled to commence the week of February 8.
